Want to take things to the next level and
create a Friday night experience that provokes dialogue, inspires action and
encourages Shabbat engagement on a larger scale? If so, help us catalyze and
invigorate Jewish life around the world by becoming a TableMaker.
TableMakers "set the table" by hosting dinner on a Friday evening
(including Shabbat rituals) that takes place at a large-scale event or unique location, tapping into their
network of peers and creating an intentional dinner for 40+ young adults in
their 20s and 30s grounded in Schusterman values (a connected global Jewish
community; service and tikkun olam; communities rooted in inclusion, equality
and diversity; and a strong and safe Israel). Check out our TableMakers Toolkit for more information and Shabbat ritual resources.
Micro grants are done as a reimbursement through PayPal. Please be sure to review the funding page and the TableMakers FAQs for information on what can be covered through a TableMakers micro grant.
Note: TableMakers micro grants are for REALITY alumni planning events occurring in
2018. Please apply at least one month (preferably two) before your
expected event date. The
Schusterman team will review TableMakers grant applications on a monthly basis,
so please factor in sufficient time prior to your Shabbat dinner during the
planning process.
