ROI Community Code of Conduct
(Summit Staff, Suppliers, Guest
Speakers and/or Facilitators)
As a diverse and
growing community, we’ve put practices in place to guide our conduct, and the
conduct of our suppliers and guests, at the ROI Summit and during other ROI
Community experiences, ensuring that we maintain a safe environment and our values are
honored at all times.
When any of us
ignores or distances ourselves from these practices, we risk harming our
Community's culture and members. Therefore,
if an act is committed, intentionally or unintentionally, that harms or
disrupts our Community’s ethos, ROI Community retains the right to take action
that we deem necessary to maintain a safe, respectful and inclusive environment
for our members, suppliers and guests.
Should you commit
any acts of harassment of any kind, verbal or physical, consequences may range,
at our discretion, from a warning, to removal from the ROI Summit or other event,
without our paying you any of the agreed upon compensation. Harassment (both
online and in person) includes, but is not limited to:
1.
Disparaging
verbal comments related to age,
race, ethnicity, ability, religion, national origin, physical appearance,
sexual orientation, gender identity and expression
2.

3.

In
addition, sexual relations between participants and suppliers, or participants
and guest speakers or facilitators, during any part of the ROI Summit or other
ROI Community or Schusterman programming, even with affirmative consent, are
unacceptable and are grounds for immediate dismissal.

that everyone feels comfortable at a Summit, at an event or within our
Community. If you experience or witness harmful acts or harassment against
Community members or event attendees, report the incident(s) in-person to a staff
member or email schustermanreports@lighthouse-services.com. In either case, please share
as many details as possible, including who were the individuals involved, when
and where did the incident occur and any other additional information that will
help us understand and address the incident. In cases of emergency, action will
be taken immediately.
